NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, you made Kai evil D: I really enjoyed his introduction and I thought I was more or less safe from huge surprises knowing bands history and now this turn of events threw me completely off balance. Do you plan to digress from the bands' history at some point? Since it is an AU story, and silly me was expecting everything to go as much as it did in reality, but with villain Kai I don't know what to expect anymore and of course you have every liberty to change things as an author and make your story more interesting as you see fit.

Apart from that shock :) I really enjoyed this chapter. I like how the drunken sex played out, as a result of Aoi's distress after the dream and not really being conscious of his actions just reaching out. I loved how you described his emotions. They were emotions only a certain level of alcohol could induce - lust, want, and absolute loneliness.I didn't miss the smut, because seeing it only through details in flashbacks was much more interesting and added to the realism of the whole

I do plan to twist things a bit with the band's history, but I'll generally follow the real timeline (like when they release stuff and such). And yes, I apologize for making Kai evil. He makes the kind of villain that stands out for me. I think sinister characters that hide behind sweet faces are scary. Plus the timing of his entrance kinda worked. XD

I'm really, really glad you think the smut worked. I didn't realize that it would be so hard to write a smut scene (first time fic writer, go figure). It was so hard to write in detail, so I had to hide it conveniently behind Aoi's drunkenness and unstable feelings and Uruha's stoicism and sheer audacity.

Oh he's human, but in this story he's gonna be quite the monster. Not in a really scary sense, though. He'll just shake things up. A LOT. ^^

Whether or not it's rape depends on whose perspective it's viewed from. Aoi thinks it's rape, because Uruha clearly didn't want it. Uruha, on the other hand, doesn't care. XD

The next chapter will explain a lot of things, including Kai's rather complicated relationship with Uruha. I just finished writing it. I'll post it in a bit. ^^
