The funeral went well. It was a really lovely service. I have to admit that I half expected to have Zoe flashbacks and a breakdown - I've been lucky enough that hers is the only other funeral I've been to - but I was quite ok ( Read more... )

Ahh, that's exactly how I always try to get back on a proper sleep schedule when I've been abusing the all-nighters and whatnot... it tends to work for me, so hopefully it will for you, too! :)

Thanks, sweetie. ♥ Dessert always makes me happy - that's one of the reasons why I love baking - I haven't done any in a while though... I now have the urge to make fairy cakes. =3

I'm not so tired today, certainly, although I did stay in bed when I woke up. Reading, checking emails on my phone, and I bet you can't guess who I spent 2 and a bit hours on the phone to. *grinning like an idiot* Can you?

Yes, they are. It makes me quite jealous... Although, when it comes to common sense I am quite the idiot, so maybe I can have a bit of that talent? I'll have to work on it.

I think it is amazing that you guys call what we call "cupcakes" "fairy cakes" instead. XD It's much cooler. :P Also, I love cupcakes, so I hope you got some one way or another! :D

I haven't made any yet, but I'm going to some time this week when I've been shopping and got something nice to decorate them with. Maybe some icing roses or something? That sounds nice... I love icing. ♥ Om-nom-nom!

You are not useless at all sweetie. Guilt is one of the worse emotions to deal with, and if we aren't careful it can quite successfully cripple us.

You hit the nail on the head right at the end though hunny, she would forgive you. Has forgiven you, and in time you will learn to do the same. Just because you never phoned does not mean you didn't think of her, and she will know this.

You were a very good friend to her and she will be aware of just how much she meant to you.
