re: grasshoppers - I have heard great things about cayenne pepper as a insect repellent. You mix it with water and spray it all over everything. It might kill insects if you spray it directly on them, but mostly it makes the plants taste nasty. Might be worth a shot!
your angst about the tour dates is like exactly what I am experiencing right now ;_; when Wiser People In My Life hear me say things like "if x happens then i NEED TO GO" they think I'm crazy/lacking in priorities/lacking common sense but these are also people who don't have the least idea how important x actually is to me and how much i feel compelled to take advantage of the - to use a loaded word - opportunity.
also i am deathly afraid of grasshoppers. one time i almost drove off the road when one suddenly landed on the steering wheel.
good like with the house repairs! i had to cancel a lot of remodel plans because of the expense :/ hopefully not forever.
i have yet to find a way of explaining why i neeeeeed to participate in certain fandom-related activities (in this case, seeing mcr as much as possible) to non-fandom people. me going to see one band repeatedly = me being a teeny-bopper. ah, well. WHATEVER. I DO WHAT I WANT. \o/
aahhhhhhhhhh, oh man, i feel ya. i am not a fan of bugs in general. well, i like to look at them, i just don't want them on me. a ladybug once landed on my arm while i was driving and it took everything in me to not flail and swerve. a ladybug! :\ and then there was that time in the butterfly exhibit. *wibble*
this remodel is ABSURDLY expensive - even doing a good majority of it ourselves! totally ridic. :(
THIS. a thousand times this. which is why i've sort of stopped trying to explain myself. different strokes for different folks! (lol unintended spin-off icon pun :p)
(i'm guessing they scrapped that whole ramones idea for the comic
I wouldn't put it past Gerard to make the comic about a dude trying to get his ramones records back in a post-apocalyptic world, fighting off draculoids with ray-guns in order to do it. :D
i always intend to post more, but then i never do, lather rinse repeat. :p
i missed the early boat on both castle and cougar town, but i devoured any repeats i could find all summer. favorites! (i mean, castle is a bit formulaic, and predictable at times, but the good stuff far outweighs the bad. also, NATHAN FILLION. ♥ side note: he recently said, via twitter, that he pronounces his last name fillion like million - WHICH BLOWS MY MIND because i've been saying it like fill-lee-un for the past ten years or whatever. i want to tell him he is wrong. much like elijah wood who insists that there is a 'd' sound in elijah. he is also wrong. :p)
also, i was totally going to mention amazing race to you, but i see i don't have to! <3
ahaha i have also been calling him fill-eee-un in my head! i still do! awesome theme songs random tweeters made him notwithstanding! also, yeah, weelijah, there is clearly no D there.
hee, yeah, we are totally on team diabetes on the amazing race, until they turn into horrible people. ;P
ahahahaha, yeah, exactly. i was on team lesbian for about ten minutes last year until they turned out to be the MOST WRETCHED HUMAN BEINGS ON THE PLANET. but so far, the doctors seem a-okay. here's hoping it keeps.

so, when you listen to music, do you ever like to listen to a certain song more than once? well, seeing a band is like that, only BETTER.
yeah, it needs some work. i think, if they get it they get it and if not, i don't think anything i can say will make them get it.
