Actually, no. What I really need to stop doing is DRINKING BLACK TEA BEFORE BED. How many times do I have to do this to myself before I learn my lesson for goodness sakes >8[

So with you! I had the same issue a while back, but I've successfully switched to herbal tea for the evenings. Thyme is great. Delicious and soothing and helps against coughs, too. :)

And you know, I also like herbal tea. I've used the Traditional Medicinals Throat Coat when I'm sick and it's got a really nice flavor, and I have a bunch of mint tea right here that I like. I just... always want black tea when it's cold out (an in) because I put cream in black tea, and something about the thick cream makes it feel warmer. Maybe I should just get hot chocolate mixes or something.

Hot chocolate! Yes! The final word on sleepy cosiness!!! But aw, not mixes, surely? Real chocolate powder + milk + sugar is the way to go! Accept no substitutes for deliciousness! :D?

Normally I have done mixes (though I use two packets because I like it thick) but this house has no microwave. So I've have to at least heat the water on the stove anyway, and I might as well all out.

There is a hot chocolate shop nearby, btw. They have flavors, mint and caramel and stuff, and it all really thick. I am already completely addicted.
