Car go vrooom!

If I ever indulged in an automobile, it'd be in a musclecar:

Article: Muscle round-up

Quite stout autos, they are. But my heart is still with late 60s, early 70s musclecars. They don't make 'em like they used to...

(why is it when I say I'm not going to post as much, I end up posting twice as much?...)

Heh. A few 80s cars were pretty stout also. I love the Buick Regal Grand National, Monte Carlo SS, and others. (I would say Mustang GT, but I grew up as an anti-Ford-ian).

Great icon, btw! :-D

I'd like to add to your list.

1968 Camaro SS
1969 Nova SS
1974 Ford Torino Sport

I am not a Ford car fan, but that torino had some balls.

Ahhh, 68 Camaro and 69 Nova SSs. Truly great cars. I recall some of my friends having them in High School. Not too wild about Ford musclecars. Yeah, the Torino was not bad. If I had to choose a Ford, it'll be 69-70 Mustang Fastbacks.

Great list :) I've always been partial to Mopar and the 71-72 Roadrunners are my absolute favorite!

My hubby loves 60s muscle cars, and has a '66 Ford Fairlane (well, two) that he's been working on for some time. He'se hoping to sell them and concentrate more on other projects right now, perhaps int he furture to get another project car.

~and a Torino, too. He kinda' gathered them in his impulsive new-job = neat-cars phase. ;)

Never been into Fords too much myself. Wish I had the room to go through a new-job/neat-car phase :) I've always wanted to restore a good ol' musclecar.

Hey, when it comes to cars, I'm perfectly content with anything that sleek, smooth, can handle well and has good milage. If comes in one of my favorite colors, even better.
