I have been watching a lot of shows lately so don't have the energy to write about each one individually. Consider this a slacker's post :) Spoiler warning - I shall talk about:

1. Justified: Thoughts so far
2. The Good Wife - Unplugged
3. Legend of the Seeker - Eternity episode
4. Supernatural - season finale
5. Glee - Thoughts so far. ( Read more... )

The actress who plays Rachel...no denying she has a wonderful voice. But GOD. I can't stand watching her and her stupid expressions.

I love Lea Michele's voice a LOT - I think she is incredibly talented. I dislike watching her sing though because she overacts a LOT and when she sings, it's much, much more exaggerated. Such a shame though, because as I said her voice is gorgeous and she pretty much nails every song she tries in every genre. Her version of "Don't Rain On My Parade" is as good as the Streisand original and she does pop and rock with amazing ease! Ah well.

I really like the pace on Justified but I love slow pacing on shows in general. I'm also pretty used to not being able to know where a show is going exactly. Sometimes, this works and sometimes it doesn't so we will how it goes with this series.

I've only seen the last couple of episodes of The Good Wife(though I plan on catching up with the entire show this summer)but I also didn't get how Alicia wouldn't realize that he would want something from her. Did she think he did that out of the kindness of his heart? It made her seem incredibly naive.

I found it amusing that Vernon Jordan was actually on the show, they kept mentioning him throughout the episode and I kept thinking are they talking about the real life Vernon Jordan? I didn't think it was a bad cameo compared to other ones I have seen by famous people who aren't actors.

We're enjoying Justified - it's just very different from all our other shows.

The Good Wife is a series that really grew on me - I was quite sceptical of it at the start but now I think it's very well done and many of the characters are very interesting.

Alicia did seem very naive but now I think about it, I think she was feeling very desperate. She's the sole breadwinner of the family right now - Peter's a drain on finances rather than a contributor and so she acted impulsively and then only thought about the consequences later. Very Un-Alicia behaviour but in the last few episodes, we've seen seen Alicia acting in an Un-Alicia manner now and then and it's very refreshing and interesting. She's always been so prim and in control and now we see that things really do take their toll on her despite her tough exterior.
