Belated 'I have arrived in Toronto' post :)

The trip here took forever. I left at 5.30pm Beijing time on Wednesday, 6th February and we flew and flew and flew for 12 hours and I got into Vancouver at about 12.30pm, 6th February (yes same day but you know timezones). As I arrived, the Canadian had messaged me to say that there had been very big snow storms in Toronto and heaps and heaps of

I actually love airports (hate bus stations and train stations) because they're filled with possibilites and planes flying off to exotic locations - but I do not enjoy sleeping at them :)

Oh, the Ottawa airport is such a pokey dump. Sorry about that bad trip over.

I'm glad you're in Toronto now and having fun. Make sure that the Canadian takes you out for some Tim's! And I don't know if he's an aficionado of "Honest Ed's" but thats also worth a gawk if you like crazy stores.

At least everyone at Ottawa airport was very polite. And it was kind of cool to say that I've been to Ottawa - if only the airport :)

I always thought snow looked beautiful but now the reality of it has sunk in, I shall take it with a pinch of snowsalt. :D
