What's My Name? CD Release Party
2010/12/06: Osaka Big Cat
WOW, Osaka. Just.... wow!
I've been to a lot of Miyavi shows - small shows, big shows, calm shows, crazy shows, really lighthearted shows and super-emotional shows - but I have never been to a show quite like that before.
Before I review this one, though, I should probably backtrack and

Now you reaaally made me look forward to the European tour... Even though it's only half announced yet (wtf is up with that) and tickets are a mess with all this vip nonsense :')
The concerts sound like amazing <3 Also I'm wondering, did he play any old songs? And is he playing SHELTER? :p
The demachi thing is still weird to me lol xD I mean, especially after lives in winter, if it takes more than half an hour I just go home, like almost everybody does :') But then again we do it kinda opposite, like last thursday when we waited in the snow since 7am :') Luckily venuestaff is nice in winter and usually lets us wait inside lolol.
I just wish Miyavi would get a little better at announcing his tours :') Cuz what he's doing now, new country every week.. how am i supposed to properly plan my trip D: Just like your february tour, that's odd timing XD
Anyway good luck at saving lol~
And.. sorry for the novel I wrote ^^;

I'm not sure what the full-blown What's My Name? tour will be like yet, but he didn't play much old stuff at all for the CD release party shows - only Kimi ni Negai wo and Boku wa Shitteru for the encores (or in Nagoya's case, quasi-encore). But hey - as long as he's playing music, I'm happy!
I don't know wtf is up with these hasty, half-finished tour announcements! I mean, is that it for European tour...? >.< Because that would suck! He's only doing seven shows instead of like seventeen for the JPN tour this time - easier on our wallets for the kids that want to go to a lot of them, but harder on the people that live in far-flung places like Gifu and the like ( ... )

And yeah, the NY show had it's own 'regulators' too >.< Next tour, I'm planning to bring some of my Japanese buddies to a show in America (they say they want to go!) but I'm really worried about the whole line politics thing, since we just... don't have that over here. You guys need seiribangou! Makes life way easier. Anyway, good luck on the Eurotour and shoot me a review or two if you have time!
PS - yes, I made it out on time, woot! <3
