What's My Name? CD Release Party

2010/12/06: Osaka Big Cat

WOW, Osaka. Just.... wow!

I've been to a lot of Miyavi shows - small shows, big shows, calm shows, crazy shows, really lighthearted shows and super-emotional shows - but I have never been to a show quite like that before.

Before I review this one, though, I should probably backtrack and ( Read more... )

No worries, I like your novels! <3

I'm not sure what the full-blown What's My Name? tour will be like yet, but he didn't play much old stuff at all for the CD release party shows - only Kimi ni Negai wo and Boku wa Shitteru for the encores (or in Nagoya's case, quasi-encore). But hey - as long as he's playing music, I'm happy!

I don't know wtf is up with these hasty, half-finished tour announcements! I mean, is that it for European tour...? >.< Because that would suck! He's only doing seven shows instead of like seventeen for the JPN tour this time - easier on our wallets for the kids that want to go to a lot of them, but harder on the people that live in far-flung places like Gifu and the like.

And yeah, see, we're only in line for like an hour at the most before the shows over here - you guys sorta have irimachi instead of demachi because I'm assuming you all see him show up to the venue XD It doesn't really matter whether it's before or after the show, though - as long as the CoMYVs get their bonding time and show him their love <3

GAH! Gotta check outta here in like 15 minutes so I gotta jet! Thanks for your comment, though! I hope you guys have a BLAST with him in March!!!!

Oh right~ Release party, didn't think about that lol XD Only logic that he'd play mainly the new album :p But I really hope he plays older songs during the tour because I love his old stuff so much xD But right, as long as he's playing music :p

I think he's trying to ... bring up the tension or something? But it's mostly damn annoying. I mean when london got announced, I wasnt planning at all to go, but then vip tickets came.. So I ordered one anyway, afraid that there wouldn't be any in other places and that these would sell out which they did shortly after I bought them.... Then what... 5 dates in france? What the hell? Either he's gonna do one of those hellish tours again or he's randomly gonna give 5 shows in france and that's it? O_o They're all nothern france too so there's just no logic in it.
Then Germany tickets were just hell. Because the moment I boght my tickets, vip tickets were added, but they were unavailable. So there came 2 hours of waiting and asking people what was up with these vip tickets. Turns out they were sold trough box offices in Germany >o> *facepalm*

It's all so weird... Seriously in moments like these I almost wanna strangle him :')

And I guess this year in japan, in stead of tons of small lives it's gonna be a few bigger ones hm?

Irimachi.. makes sense lol :') But yeah I guess it's like that... usually around noon people are scared to leave the line because they wanna see him arrive then when he gets there people srsly dash to the bathroom/to some place to get food/to change clothes cuz people usually start properly queuing up around 4/5 with Miyavi shows @___@ (which means like 2 or 3 hours of standing all squished up against eachother D: )

Downside of irimachi is the line-stress @___@ especially in certain countries where there's always this one group of fans who feel better than others and maintain ~*the list*~

:')

Thaanks <3 Were you on time lol? :')

The ticket sales are a little more logical over here, luckily - pre-sale thru CWIF, and if you want to apply for the 'VIP' raffle all you have to do is click a little box. I guess he hasn't figured out how to do fanclube presale abroad yet or something...? I think it's a little unfair to his fans, to be announcing things so sporatically - it doesn't give people a fair chance to plan out their trip, especially you guys over in Europe.

And yeah, the NY show had it's own 'regulators' too >.< Next tour, I'm planning to bring some of my Japanese buddies to a show in America (they say they want to go!) but I'm really worried about the whole line politics thing, since we just... don't have that over here. You guys need seiribangou! Makes life way easier. Anyway, good luck on the Eurotour and shoot me a review or two if you have time!

PS - yes, I made it out on time, woot! <3
