Dear Alyson Hannigan,

Remember these days? When you had adorable naturally red hair in a cut and flattering style, and I wanted your hair like nobody's business? Or even these days when you had longer hair dyed a dark brown with the barest hints of red that was still very flattering, modern, and enviable, even if it wasn't red anymore? Yeah, I also like her naturally red hair better, but if she wants to experiment, so be it. :-)

Experiment is one thing, but when the experiment has clearly failed, it needs to end! Mostly it's those bangs. Those horrendous awful bangs that show no sign of getting longer and going away. It makes me sad.

I agree. She's basically known for her adorable red hair, this is a bad career move.

Yeah - but I guess she is looking for a break from being "cute red head Willow".

Not a stylish way to do it, but I can understand the urge.

I have to disagree. I think she looks awful and it's completely unflattering. I wish I could find a screenshot of her hair from last night, it reached a true peak of awful in the episode.

You mean this hair? (I've no idea which ep that pic's from.) Ew, no, not flattering at all.

I read somewhere (IMDb, maybe?) that she claimed she went brunette so she wouldn't be recognized everywhere she went. Fine, but she could have stayed with the nicer hair styles, at least.

Much as I like Hannigan, I just couldn't get into How I Met Your Mother (not her fault--she was easily the best thing about it), so I stopped watching after the first few eps. Maybe it's just that I'm not into sitcoms these days? I dunno.

Yeah, that. Last night it just looked even worse, I think the bangs were trimmed and too short, like above her eyebrows noticeably.

HIMYM is about the only sitcom I watch/like. I find it fun and enjoyable and even a little original, which is nice. It's similar to Friends, which I loved watching even if after it was off the air, and I can't stand the ones like Everybody Loves Raymond (I don't love him at all!). This one's fun and quirky. :)

Actually no... no bangs for her! Even something slicked down like that would be fine... but the bangs are horrid.
