Today my daughter has a book fair at school and there is not much more fun that an elementary school book fair. As a kid I LOVED book fair days! Yep, I was nerdy/geeky bookworm my whole life. Little 5 Points 14th annual Halloween Festival and Parade
I had such a fantastic day at the Little 5 Points Halloween Parade and Festival. I've lived in GA for 30 years this summer but I have never been to the Halloween parade. I went with my friend and her daughter and we had a girls' day. We arrived shortly after 11am and we luckily found a great parking place. $10 was worth not worrying about the ( Read more... ) -

My heart was made of red-gold fur, had a wet nose, and wagging tail
With heavy heart I make this post. So I took Harley to the vet today because of her cold. I thought she had a cold but then she started having trouble standing. I got seriously worried and started to freak out a bit. We arrived for her appointment and they took her back for an Xray to check her lungs and tummy ( Read more... ) -
Dog Flu
Spoke to my sister-in-law in Hanson, MA who is a dog groomer and has been a dog owner since she was young. I feel a bit better. Turns out that there is a dog flu going around and it sounds like Harley has it. She even confirmed that is why Harley won't settle down like she usually will. She can't breathe through her stuffy nose too well ( Read more... )
