mmm Beatles. yeah, I like some of their stuff more than others. I can't make myself commit to Tolkien either... but you are the woman reading all of the Dark Tower Stephen King series IN ORDER, and won't allow herself to read anything else till she's done. that's pretty damn hard core.

what's the "M" on the monkey stand for?

Hee. I'm less than 200 pages to the end of Dark Tower IV. More than halfway to the end of the series! I didn't think this earned me hardcore points, but I'll take 'em anyway. Thanks! :)

The monkey doll is from the movie, Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium, which I had never heard of before the monkey came home from Target in his little red wagon to live with me.

Wow! Look at you go! Do you guys get a lot of requests for the store to knit up stuff for customers?

Hi there, Secret Pal!

It happens, but it's not so common for people to actually commission stuff to be knit for them (I imagine because most folk who even come into the store are knitters already and want to make the stuff themselves). We do get a fair number of finishing and repair projects, though.

Hope this week gets less crazy for you. How was the wedding?
