Finn-ish is finished!

Woo hoo, I finished both of my Finn-ish socks! Unfortunately wasn't able to get a photo of the pair because as soon as one was off the needles, it went to Sock Summit and then to Susanna Hansson as a sample. I got to enjoy the second sock for a while and then it went to my LYS as a sample. Some day I'll have them back and maybe I'll even wear them ( Read more... )

Argh, this was posted ages ago and I only just got it out of the queue -- if you happen to see this, can you fix your cut? Otherwise we'll have to delete it but please do re-post it later because they are delightful!

YAY! Thank you for being awesome! They are seriously beautiful socks --I've been dying to try that technique, but I have not yet been brave enough! Was it hard to keep an even tension?

You know, I didn't have issues with keeping the tension even. It just takes a bit of getting used to I think.

Oh, those are gorgeous! I've been looking for a resource for this technique - can't make a class, I'm in the UK! Thanks for posting!

Thank you very much! If you can't take a class from Susanna, then this pattern provides the instruction that you'll need to be successful with the technique. But Susanna's class is invaluable for the historical information, as well as the hands-on practice and personal attention.
