Stephen had to follow it through, he suffered enough with Helen and didn't want Lester doing the same. Hee, it just had to be awkward. Poor boys.

I do like Lester and Blade together and pupverse is fun.

Well good on Stephen for not backing down but he's definitely letting his past warp his view of everyone else. He (and probably Cutter if he's let this attitude persist despite their relationship and hasn't tried to help him) needs counseling to deal with what Helen did. But I'm glad he didn't just ask once and take Lester's word for it too.

and good on Lester and Blade for understanding even if it was very awkward.

Stephen has suffered with Helen and you're probably correct that he needs counseling - but betas seem to have it tough in pup!verse. It didn't seem right to have him just believe Lester, not after what Helen did.

Lester and Blade had to be understanding, it was that important to them, even if they wish it had never happened.

Poor Stephen, so scarred by Helen, but bravo for being courageous enough to stand up to an alpha like Blade!

Stephen is definitely scarred by his 'relationship' with Helen. Stephen is always couragous and he wouldn't want anyone else to suffer as he had.
