It's been a pretty eventful few days. The sort of time when if you don't check with me every few hours, something big has happened.

Last weekend wasn't very big. I went home on Saturday, mostly because b0mberman was going to be there. We hit the Pig & Atlas, hung out with gnothi_se_auton, the Murray sisters, my senior prom date, Greg R, and all sorts of great C-town ( Read more... )

My old laptop was named Tesla with a hard drive named Feynman. Haven't come up with good names for Bucky's HDs.

Oh, yeah, it's new & exciting. For right now it seems like KK's staying here in Roch.

I had about 3-4 beers all night, one of which I got on my own, and about 1.5-2 of which were from communal. (Another was from KK's.) It seemed like not a big deal at all, really.

Thanks! Yes, right next door. There are at least 2 other houses for rent within a block. We'd just need to find people willing to move into them...

Mary is looking for a room for someone she has coming for a few weeks here and there for the summer (the help prep with the move, I think, I forget the details) and so even though the guy would only be there M-F and not every week, she'd rather pay rent for the whole time than put him in a hotel. And close to campus would be ideal so he wouldn't have to rent a car. She was telling me about it this morning and asked me to let her know if I heard anything. It's not a permanent solution but it would buy you a couple of months to find someone to live in the room permanently--want me to ask her for more details? Or you could just email her...
