Jo tilts her head weakly to one side. She's pale -- ashen, even -- but she still manages something of a skeptical look.]
... if this is some kinda joke, I'm gonna kick [There's a painful wince, there, before she coughs out:] Cas' ass --
[... he's the only representative of heaven that she knows, so clearly, this is all his fault.]

He doesn't bother responding over the PCD, locating on Jo easily, flying to her side in an instant. One look at her makes it clear what point in time she's from and he kneels next to her, reaching out to her, gathering his strength for a healing attempt. He still hadn't used it on a human here, but now was more than worth the try.]

And Jo even manages something of a weak laugh, even if it's hoarse and bloody, because he is exactly the right person she wants to see.]
Hey, that whole praying thing actually --
[But Jo grits her teeth and tilts back her head into the ground, squeezing her eyes tightly shut.]

[There's something of a faith in those words -- pray for an angel and they show up. Jo doesn't know how much she believes that, but she's pretty sure Cas wouldn't leave her hanging. They're drinking buddies.
And Dean and Sam definitely wouldn't abandon her.
The only question is where the fuck is her mother..]

Still your wound looks quite bad... I could try to heal it until he gets there.

[The rest doesn't quite sink in to her -- and Jo doesn't really want anyone she doesn't know near her -- not quite yet. She's weak, vulnerable -- ]
