In other news, Hellboy II would have been greatly improved by not being out of focus for the last third of the movie; otherwise, I was quite fond of it. Journey to the Center of the Earth was fun mindless family action fare, but you really do have to turn your brain off. I'll probably review them in

It is terribly tragic that the French bourgeouisie went and started a Revolution that just slaughtered the very people they longed to *be* themselves. And that they still have this crazy love/hate relationship with the aristocracy (which is very much alive and well despite any and all revolutions and governmental shifts.)

Ah yes, the "Torn vs. Drevni" movie, as I like to call it. *drool* I can't wait for that to come out on five buck club.
