Also, did you know that today, for the first time in ages, new Tolkien material is being released? Edited by Christopher again, this time it's the Children of Hurin.

As for the poem you posted... I don't know. I *like* some of Tolkien's poetry/songs -- the Ring poem and Gimli's chant were the first things I ever memorized, and I've added Galadriel's lament, and I grew up with the Adventures of Tom Bombadil. But I couldn't get the meter on that one to work consistently for me, and even grammatical parsing seemed off. Maybe I need to hear someone else read it.
