How sparring had turned to flirting and flirting led to a movie not-date Xander couldn't really justify. But, he was applying cologne and buttoning the rest of his shirt. One button down - two. Wiping slightly sweaty palms on the thigh of his jeans Ric glances in the mirror by his front door when he hears the beep of a car horn and a silhouette darken his door. Straightening his shirt Ric opens the door before Xander can knock and smiles brightly.
"Give me two seconds to grab my jacket and wallet okay?" He turns on his heel not giving Xander a chance to answer as he disappears through a doorway into another room, leaving the front door wide open.

"Oh, yeah, sure-" But, Ric's gone and Xander's just standing there. After a second, he leans over and peers into the main room before standing back. Sticking his hands in his pockets, Xander turns back to the car and then to the doorway.

He steps out to stand beside Xander, door shutting with a click as he tugs it closed and then there is a moment of silence. Ric drags his gaze down Xander's form and nods once before heading down the steps towards the car. "Nice ride."

"Yeah, well..." he tries, unable to form a quip. Instead, he thanks Ric and holds the door open for the other man. Once he's in and comfortable, he jumps into his side. "My door sticks and I don't...wanna' look stupid or weak because I'm not either and -- hi," he finally says, starting the car.
"Making good time..."
