[The video kicks on about halfway through... something. It's two in the morning, and the lights are all off in the study upstairs. There are two circles drawn with chalk on the floor, each one of them ornately decorated with multiple rings, different symbols, and words from ancient languages. Strewn about both circles are small bowls of incense

[Wellp, fuck the PCD for showing it off. Nat was hoping to keep his abilities up his sleeve, but- he supposed that it wouldn't make much of a difference, in the long run.

Still, there's no reply for a few minutes- Nathaniel still has to bind the spirit to him, give it precise orders, and make sure it was bonded to his will before he can step out of his protective circle. But he finally shows up on Tom's feed, tired, but triumphant.]

I'm pleased it was successful.

[He flicks the light, so he's a bit more visible.]

[He sits a bit wearily at his chair, the glow from the snake just barely reaching the screen as it wanders about the room.]

It's a spirit. It's very much alive, in a manner of speaking, but it was never human. It simply exists.

....well, that's how it is in my world. I'm not entirely sure about this one.

[A pause, and a man glances over Nathaniel's shoulder toward the PCD. He's dressed as a nomad, tanned skin, dark eyes. Nat doesn't seem perturbed at all.]

It is a native spirit to this place. I uncovered literature on it when I was studying in the library- enough to summon it. [He glances back toward the man, before shrugging.] From what I gather, it's Middle Eastern in origin, and of mediocre power. Not something I'd summon if I were back home, but so far, it's the only thing I've found here to bear any results.
