Ok, so my wisdom teeth are going to be removed a week from now. I'm really not looking forward to it, especially since Griff just had his out and said it was his worst experience ever. Plus I don't want to do anything stupid while knocked out, he said he got down on his knee and proposed to the surgical team

You'll be fine with the wisdom teeth thing. I had all four of mine extracted and had an awful time recovering BUT I have a rare genetic disorder that predisposes me to have a bad reaction to any kind of oral surgery. For the rest of my friends who have had it done over the past five years or so they have had no problems.

The only advice I give is that if they prescribe Vicodin, it works better on an empty stomach but can sometimes make you sick. So if they give you that for pain try to eat a little.

It's not so bad darlin. I just had mine out, they gave me WONDERFUL drugs; and I had a boxset of Stargate Atlantis and Neopets to keep me company., LOL. Really though - it's a little bit of a pain, but not so bad if you sleep off the first day.

You don't need college to have a good job. I'm serious. I know tons of people who got good -good- jobs and they didn't need fancy degrees. Some of them are managers, caterers, one of my friends wound up nannying for a millionaire. :O

I'm really counting on the drugs to help. My friend only got perscribed a small amount, so they didn't go very far.

I do want to go to college, but I'm not sure where yet. My mom just thinks if I go for a degree that's very specific, I won't be able to get a job with it.

They do! I snuggled in my chair and played Neopets. They went far enough for me; I still have some left actually. You're really only supposed to take a couple a day.

Ah. I disagree a little bit; since general degrees can be very helpful. But I can see why she worries about it with the ecomny (I can't spell that damn word.) the way it is.

I'm still not sure. I think she feels that most art degrees aren't worth much. -_- She laughed at the art school's brochure when she saw that math or science weren't required. But I'm interested more in computer graphics/graphic design or illustration.
