Based upon the commercials and the pilot, Flash Forward was a show that looked like it had promise. Then they aired the episode where The Hobbit, fresh from his escape from The Island, implied that he played a key role in the entire planet flashing forward.
It wasn't just the casting that sent the show over the edge for me, mind you. The story was growing increasingly lame by that point. But when Evangeline Lily's boyfried's dopey mug stepped into frame? That was the proverbial straw that broke this camel's back.
