I mean, KFC did change it's name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to the "doesn't mean anything acronym" KFC because it was concerned about it's health-conscious image....
I did, too --- either it's real, or an awful lot of people have been taken in by it. One site I looked at even had nutritional information. The calorie count didn't look that bad, in a relative sense. 585 calories. As I said, relative to what it is, it's not as high as you would expect. However, it has almost 1400 mg of sodium. Until I looked it up again, I could not remember the fat content (around 32 grams). I suspect I blocked it.
I remember hearing on the radio once about a cheeseburger with Krispy Creme donuts for a bun -- the whole deep-fried, IIRC. The DJs were saying it weighed in at almost 1,500 calories.
And we wonder why Americans are so much heavier than the rest of the world...
Reports seem to vary, but the numbers in this one pop up I've seen varying reports, but these are the numbers that seem to come up the most often, so let's go with it... 540 calories 32 grams of fat 1,380 milligrams for sodium

Still, I'm-a-gonna buy one. With friends, so I have someone to hand it to when I'm done.
