Congrats! Good to hear when people come looking for you. Always remember to counter offer whatever they offer you! All they can really do is stand firm on their original offer. If you get even 50 cents an hour more though, it's like a one year+ upfront cost of living raise. Remember to emphasize all your badass experience and call metrics as to why you're better than all the ordinary people :) they are being forced to hire at the same time, and remind them you were obviously good enough that they came looking for you.

Well, as it turns out, the offer was an administrative mistake. So, nogo on that. However, my TM, Jerry, says "EDU has other plans for you", and "I've already taken you off my plan for next month, if that tells you anything". So, things are still looking good, just not quite as concrete right now.
