Latte! Thanks... for posting and for friending (hmmm... is that technically a word?).
I really enjoyed this! The shocking realization to Lee that he didn't give a flying frak if she WAS a cylon, but then his understandable relief that she isn't, since that really would make life more complex!
Helo, Chief, Racetrack & Hotdog all working it out... Racetrack's self-satisfaction at her part in it all ... the immense welling then outpouring of emotion from them ... Lee's utter acceptance and overwhelming sense of happiness and relief to hold her and then.. then... then... that Lee (!) didn't have a single question - just a need. And that he not only went with it but voiced it.
'friending' used to sound weird but you get used to it.
I really enjoyed this!
thanks :)

It's hard to know how Lee will react in canon. There's an interview on an Aussie scifi site (I think it was linked at battlestar_blog where Jamie was talking about the food shortage dealt with in the passage and he said he thinks Lee wouldn't think twice about eating a Cylon because they're not people to him. Apart from squicking me out, it made me wonder if Lee would really feel that way if it was someone like Kara who was the Cylon. I guess we're about to find out. But in my 'shippy world, Lee would love her regardless.

I loved Helo and the others sneaking Lee in to see Kara
it amused me as the idea popped into my head :)
and I love that he doesn't care if she's a cylon he just wants to hold her.
fluffy pilot dreams can be good sometimes.
