Royalty. Hmph. They're always late, they're always so very condescending to others and I do hope that this supposed 'Count' is royalty. For I'd accept nothing less to keep me waiting out here for...*check watch* Three whole minutes!
*rings the buzzer again with the tip of his cane*
*door is soon opened by one of the zombies*
Ah. Greetings, my fine mute friend! I'm here for a business engagement. No, it's quite alright. I'll let myself in. *goes inside, sheds his coat and hands it to the zombie* No, I'll be keeping my cane, thank you. Where, pray tell, is your Master? There wasn't an appointment made, but I do think he should be expecting me nonetheless.
*hands the zombie his business card, bone-white with gold lettering* Do be careful of that. That's real gold. Not the caret, but the swiss type. Not that you'd know the difference, of course. I do hope you serve drinks here. It's been a long fly and I'd very much appreciate a dry martini.
*zombie walks away*
...He'd better be back soon. *glances around the place, taking in the
*is immediately aware of a strange presence in his castle, as well as Sophie and Klaus, attends to the stranger first*
Good evening. *looks him over, taking him in, and quite likes what he sees* You must be the emmissary of the Dark Lord's. Do come in. *holds out his hand* Count Dracula. You may call me Vlad.
*smiles and shakes Vlad's extended hand* Delighted to meet you in person. I am the Dark Lord's envoy, Lucius Malfoy. It's an honour to meet the, as he puts it, Lord of the Undead. Vampires are generally looked down upon by the wizarding kind, but then they're not as well-mannered, vocal, or charming as your kind appear to be.
While there have always been separate types of vampires, it's most reassuring to know that there is one who rules them all. *smirk* I do hope I'm not intruding at a busy time. My Lord tells me you're in the process of changing.
*takes in Lucard from how shiny his shoes are to how neatly styled his hair is; eyeing the wardrobe appreciatively, and his features all the more so; quite likes the entire combination*
*leads Lucius into a comfortable living room - not the every day one he uses with Klaus, but a more upscale one with a wetbar*
Indeed I am. It's time to shed this persona and move onto the next one. Though it's difficult to be a prominent figurehead while maintaining immortality, I find it a challenge.
*takes out some things for a martini, figuring Lucius is NOT the scotch type* Care for a drink while we discuss business?
