Today's Fabulous Snow Day Find: Comics From the Guvmint.

Now, when I saw Superman and Wonder Woman: The Hidden Killer! I naturally hoped it would be about AIDS or syphilis or something. Like maybe Superman didn't get tested after those aliens forced him to do porn with Big Barda.

I had never heard that before, but I love it. He should fly up and hug Bruce really tightly in combat so that way they can be invulnerabuddies together!

I can't get enough of comics like these. When I was young, I went someplace that gave out a free Supergirl comic written to illustrate the importance of safety belts. It involved some kid getting caught in a virtual reality machine, and in each reality her brother failed to put on his seat belt and died. She only broke free of the machine when she finally convinced him to buckle up in one reality.

Educational comics are awesome.

Apparently Post-Crisis they decided that making his costume out of the blankets in his rocket was just stupid, but "Superman's body generated an invisible "aura" that surrounded him and contributed to his invulnerability" made total sense.
