And then there’s the whole idea that Dan Hiri chose Gwendal, not Conrart, to be with him when he died

Yes, I've always wondered if Conrart didn't resent Gwendal a little bit for that. Of course, Dan Hiri might have spoken to Conrart about it on that last journey, telling his son he would would outlive his father due to his demon blood, but I still think it might have caused some tension in the relationship between the brothers, back when they were little.

Seriously... Celi... I bet you in S3 there will be another new sibling. Wolfram will be pissed he wont be babied over any longer. Was Celi already queen? I haven't downloaded this episode and I haven't seen it in about a year so I forgot about the details. I thought she became queen after marrying to the king? Feel free to kick me off the boat for being this slow.

And through it all, we get the impression of the fragile nature of human’s short lives compared to Demon lives. Celi puts is beautifully by saying that it’s possible that the Demons hate the humans so because of that - because they have to watch the ones they love die and then live on.

I'd always assumed that Conrad, Yozak and Yuuri wouldn't live as long as everyone else since they're all half-demon. I'm not sure about Murata. He's tricky. XD

Well I guess Conrad and Yozak will die before Yuuri since they do have many years already on them and you also have to consider their jobs. I wonder what Wolfram would do if Yuuri dies before him. "You cheater! You died before me so you could go flirt with all those dead people!" XDD

Just watch Murata will forever be young looking and not die. Celi will be wrinkled and saggy and yet Murata will still be pretty. He has secret for staying young~
