I assumed by this fic we were dealing with a very young Anissina, therefore I didn't think his neice would have been born yet, or even old enough for the garden event to have occured

Ah, this is the problem with Mazoku ages! I'd assumed that they stay teenagers for a very long time-Wolfram seems to be only nearing seventeen, himself, and this was supposed to be a teenaged Anissina. Remember when Dan Hiri takes Gwendal to the village, he looked adult-like but Dan Hiri comments to himself that he's still a kid...so maybe Elizabeth could already be born by the time of this drabble, I'm not sure. *shrugs*

I am SO glad you caught that! =) I had him thinking of his own past with Celi when I had Raven say those lines, but I could only vaguely imply it, what with the word count.
