Knowing Anissina, she's probably got her lab rigged to harness the Maou's powers in case he ever showed up. Probably something like those goofy marketing ploys where if the Maou stepped into her lab, a voice sounding like an 80s game show host will announce, "Congratulations, you are the 100th test subject and first Maou to volunteer...". Complete with confetti and balloons...

...because no matter how powerful the Maou is, he's still only a man.
