Well, I'll be damned. I did make the local paper.

Today I learned I need two more crowns (I am to have a least an ounce of gold in my mouth). Then I browsed two different libraries. Then I visited a friend who decorated me like a christmas tree when I discussed how I've never learned how to use cosmetics. I went to the laundry this afternoon to check on the laundry and the lock came away in my hand. I tried to put it back into the doorknob but couldn't figure it out. I wondered why the key was labeled "control key".

The trouble with traveling is that it can really drive home what a dirty, inefficient and obstreperous infrastructure America has. That then connects with the current gross mismanagement occurring at the post office and so forth. What I mean is, the transit system in Switzerland was fantastic. It was corpus christi today, so at 7am sharp there were several cannon shots followed by the ringing of every church bell in town. This went on for a few minutes. Since most everything was, therefore, closed, we went to Mt Pilatus via s-bahn, cog train, cable car and gondola.
