Now I'll have to watch because I missed those JLA style episodes. It sort of gets on my nerves though, the same way as in a fic where a character is blatantly OOC to fit the author's needs.
I missed BTAS which is why I stuck with The Batman and then some aspects turned out to be better! It's the same reason I've been downloading W&XM... Evo was okay, but I still miss the 90s X-men cartoon though! *is nostalgic*
I'm more likely to forgive a fic writer though. I guess because I feel those responsible for a nationally televised show should know better, you know?

And I'm more likely to forgive the professional because I know they've got their marching orders. A fic writer on the other hand, don't you know the character you love?
I wish they'd release XTAS on disk. I have it all on tape (out of order) but it's not the same.

Technically, maybe, but only if it also met the requirements of a Mary Sue. You include enough of the regular cast and keep things level enough to be plausible. Regardless, some percentage of anything is usually good. I just get tired of plowing past so darn many of them....

Oh, I love wiping out OC's! Especially after I build them up to be all sympathetic and then blam! Although, not as much as I enjoy coming up with Evil Villain OC's who survive because Life Is Not Fair.
