Rode Grumbles with new headlight bulbs (vast improvement). It was friggin' cold last night. Went to dojo this morning. It was fun. Went grocery shopping all over. It was tedious. Made dinner. It was unappreciated. Did some painting. It's unfinished. Did dishes and laundry. More tedium. Bedtime already; Snowflake's reminding me.

The past month, in summary: I've kept volunteering at the stable, I keep riding better, I keep doing aikido, I went on vacation in NH and rode horses there, bought maple syrup and helped organize a local union meeting at the post office. Almost overslept I was so exhausted. Made it to stable on time and we chatted while grooming and tacking up. I rode a large gelding named Springfield and aside from one scary car behind us crossing a narrow wooden bridge, we had no trouble. Got up at 5:30am to reach stable at 6:30am but no one there. Took a nap and was woken in terror by cats fighting under car. A dream had turned them into some creepy animal lurking in my car and about to chew on my head. Everyone showed up at 9:30am. One rescue had died and been buried. Despite the imminent threat of rain, I got up early and went to the stable for my lesson. The instructor was out, so the owner gave the lesson. Puddin' told me to cut off all my third class to create pivot time for about an hour of C01 but my truck got a flat tire. Man, I can't believe I forgot to mention getting a new passport (hush, it's not paranoia), the asshat who threw a rock at my windshield from the overpass and being kneed in the throat (so that's what that feels like).
