Thanks. Back in the day, all they had to worry about was rants and letters. *g* If this had been a cover to, say, Bomb Queen, I wouldn't have minded at all, because there's a book that tongue-in-cheek parodies Bad Girl comics. But Catwoman's been a "chick" book for quite a while, even back during Volume 1, for the most part. (Hence the current low sales, reflecting both the predominant niche readership combined with perfunctory writing). The latest cover solicit is about as appropriate, given the established readership, as if it were plastered on BoP.

I wanted to be fair to the source material. While I think faux lesbian almost-porn is a poor choice for a Catwoman cover - it being well established as a chick book these days - I can see AH's art is well rendered. Fair is fair, even if I do think too-cowardly-to-actually-be-porntastic is lame.

And yes, I am. I have the same name everywhere. Keeps things simple.
