I have a slightly different take on this combo.

Personally, I saw the cover as a little more violent and far less sensual than you did. I haven't been liking Hughes' last couple Catwoman covers (too overly reliant on boobage, if you ask me), but this one actually worked for me. The lip-thing took what would have been a highly cliched "cat fight" scene, and turned it into something brutal and shocking. But I can see how tastes could differ on this. I must admit it is skirting the line.

It's a nice pencil sketch - but you forgot a crucial detail when it comes to conveying mood and emotion. You forgot to close Joker's eyes. You drew them a) open and b) mugging the audience (which creates humor by breaking the 4th wall). Likewise, perhaps if AH had drawn Selina's mask on, as it should be given the context, or her eyes openly aggressive, rather than passively shut ( ... )
