The music screamed "bucolic semi-rural New England in the autumn" to me, but I couldn't really tell ya why.

I like it, but I really wish you could either turn the music off or pause the game. I'm on level 12, just got 54 out of the needed 55, but I don't want to either play for hours right now, or have to start again from scratch...

You can turn the music off, but you have to do it at the beginning. There's a little sound icon in the corner, below and to the right of the game.

And, if you play again, you have to turn it off again.

I've been playing boomshine for a few weeks now, it's quite the enjoyable little game. I've not yet cleared the whole field, however, and it's all very hit-and-miss for me and my lack of patience.
