Hi. Just wanted to say that it was really good to see you tonight. I always wish I'm a little bit more interesting sounding when I talk to you though (I blame the offspring for eating my brains) :-) Hope you get some decent sleep tonight.

It's always nice to see you! And I think that making and then growing little persons is very interesting, so while you may feel an intellectual deficit, I enjoy hearing about them, and you, and the husband, and family life.

How frustrating, to be so close to figuring out the way around your universe, and to be distracted by having to pee.

VERY frustrating. Doubly so to go back to bed and have bad dreams instead of drifting back into that dream.

Don't you just wish there were a dream switch that let you go back into dreams you want to be in? I like that you dream of manuals - hope you find one.

We went to the flowers in the desert on Friday - early rain in CA means flowers in the desert if the rain makes it over the mountains. It did there are - flowers - excellent.

Flowers are awesome. And the dream sounds pretty amazing as well. I read an interesting article on zdnet today about how they were using virtual reality in Israel to help stroke patients recover faster. The thing that stood out the most was "The virtual experience activates the mirror neurons and induces a therapeutic effect on the brain that reduces pain and increases function. By viewing the movement of the arm without pain, the brain undergoes a corrective learning process." It made me wonder if we could use that kind of technology for things like depression, where we need to re-teach the brain to re-adjust brain chemistry.

I'm not sure I'm making sense.
