My first exam was yesterday, for English. I think it went well. It was just two hours of closed-book essays on readings from the semester and the relationship between science and literature and all of that. You guys are probably getting tired of me always calculating my grades. I just find the system here, where there are so few assignments and less help available and things tend to be faster paced and chemistry tests are never simple multiple choice, to be more difficult and stressful, and thus I stress about my grades more. I know that you guys probably aren't as interested in or worried about my chemistry grade as I am, but. I currently have 11.1 out of 30 possible points for tests. 3 out of 3 possible points for online modules. It's funny how you form a picture of someone. Starting with a vague outline or impression, like looking at A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte while wearing someone else's glasses. Got grades for my biology test. Interestingly enough they graded each part separately so I got three grades: 46/50 on multiple choice, 20.5/25 on diversity and reproduction, 17.5/25 on structure and function. Taken as a whole that means an 84%, which is an A in that class (the cut off for an A+ is 85%. So close!). So basically the main class I ( Read more... )
