So! Last monday, on May 14, it was my birthday! *cheers* I'm now twenty years old! I... I am no longer a teenager. Huh.

Anyway, I did a lot of really fun stuff for my birthday! On the 12th, which was a Saturday, I went out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants with my friends and family, got to eat ice cream cake, and then saw the movie the ( Read more... )

Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply! I've been spending the last few days with my friend at her new apartment and haven't really had the chance to get online. ^^;;

And are you kidding? Like it? I loved the picture you gave me! When I saw it, I immediately messaged my friend on MSN and was like, "OH MY GOOOSH LOOK WHAT I GOT AHHHHHH!" Hahaha.

Anyway, I would love to translate things for you~! I wasn't quite sure what comics you wanted translated off of Hari's site, so I just picked one and translated it for you. ^^ Keep in mind, I'm still learning so this isn't perfect, but I think I pretty much got it. >D

Saw that too xD. It's 2d animation but still as good as anything XD.

Did you try the both version on this site?http://musentron-tori.deviantart.com/art/MMD-FOR-MAC-DOWNLOAD-AND-TIPS-291600062 (I think you did because it appear on the first page of google, but still ^^)

And I said I WANT to,but now I'm still learning to make a ball on 3D @.@ 3D art is so different from 2D art it hurt.

What can I say? I'm a fan of Yugi with cat ears. x3 He looks so cute!

Yeah, I tried both versions. v.v Both of them had the same problem of quitting as soon as I tried to open them. Thank you for the link, though! I appreciate it! ♥

Is it that difficult? =o I've never attempted to do 3D art before. Looking at some of these videos, though... It really does look very difficult. o.o

Actually you don't have to model the character, you just have to download the character people modeled, the background, the motion(or make your own motion) to make them move as you please *,...,* (It seem the make out scenes are from Yaoi motion that video maker downloaded from internet). But japanese program is just messy (I still have a hard time to follow designing program in English DX).

3D seem interesting so I'm trying to model something on my own though, now I'm trying to create a leg XD.

Thats really, really interesting!! Gah, now I really wish it would work for me. T^T

People must be very talented to create those character models! I even saw a Pharaoh Atem one in a video. And Atem is a very complicated character once you consider all of the different accessories he wears...

A leg? xD AWESOME! Good luck! I wanna see the leg you're making. xD

Is there no other way for you to use MMD? D: that's so bad.

http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t491/saitoki92/wip.png Here you have it, a cubic man. ^^ I'm hoping to finish a base , then try with hair and eyes to make different character from it. My 2D ability only help in making a flat view :

Yeah, unfortunately not. There's only one other computer in the house, and while it's technically my mom's laptop my brother has pretty much taken it over. He's just as addicted to the computer as I am, so I don't know if he'll let me take it for extended periods of time... ;-; Probably not.

Woooow, that looks great!! This is your first time trying to make a 3D person, right? That is an amazing first try!! o.o It's really cool that you were able to incorporate your drawings to help you!

What character are you trying to make? Or it is just going to be a random person? =D

Exchange for extended period of time, then? XD As long as your brother is not to rough with the computer, I guess.

I finished the base! :D I'm pretty proud of it even though it's just a faceless character XD, Take a look http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t491/saitoki92/BASE.jpg

Actually I made this by following a video tutorial for beginner, just that I made my own reference picture instead (The reference picture in the tutorial look fat and short, so XD) It's kind of hard for me because I can't hear English very well and the program used mostly key commands. x.x

I don't know which character I would make first. Maybe Yami because the form seemed fit, but could be Yugi as well . But that sound so much like learning to run before learning to walk, I didn't even know how to use texture yet x.x

I don't know if I'm particularly scared that he'd be rough with my laptop, but I am a little worried about what he'd find if he decided to do anything other other than go on the internet. xD Even my computer's background is a bunch of pictures in my SasuNaru folder that changes every five seconds. He'd probably be blinded very quickly. xDDDD And God forbid if he actually looks at my fanfiction folder...

WOW! That looks fantastic!! O.O It's so smooth and shiny and detailed!! That beginner's video must be very good!

I see~! Well, just take it one step at a time, I suppose. At the pace you're going, you'll be making awesome 3D anime characters in no time!
