" i only used a half a banana to reduce the sugar a little bit because my bananas are pretty big."

Look at you flaunting your big bananas for all the world to see. Sheesh! LOL. My daily smoothie invariably contains both bananas and blueberries, but I try to buy the smallest bananas I can so I can use the whole thing without it getting too thick. (Geez... any paragraph that even contains the word "banana" automatically sounds like a double entendre, this one included. Or is that just me?) I follow it with some powdered goji berries, cocoa powder, and unsweetened organic soy milk. I find that there is enough fructose in the fruit that I don't need any added sugar, but then my sweet tooth is very miniscule.

yes, bananas and cucumbers are like that, i think. ;)

i never add sweetener to any of my green smoothies - it's completely unnecessary, the fruit is plenty sweet enough.

and i generally use small bananas for smoothies, but i also buy big bananas because i like those when i make a milkshake. and i don't sweeten those either, lol - the banana makes it plenty sweet, usually. but apparently i ran out of little bananas and only had big ones left, lol.
