A bit of history that I don't think I've shared yet
So here's a link to one of the very first coins ever created by the United States government. I was introduced to it one day in a pawn shop, and after I recovered from the sticker shock, I laughed myself into an asthma attack.
So I had to share, because things like this amuse me, and Bast knows I need amusement right now. -
A word about the Denver shooting

Kitten is home!
And she is really high. Watching the poor girl try to walk is very sad and funny at the same time. She also tried jumping, and I feel bad about that because if I'd been paying more attention she wouldn't have had to.
But she is home. And I am happy. -

There is much wildlife around my house. I've already mentioned the skunk that poor Ash found, and then there's the squirrels that taunt the dogs every time they go into the yard and the stray cats that seem to think my garbage is their property. NADWCON 2011 - My Final Day and Tale of Cowardice
So Sunday started bright and early with another hangover, a visit to the concession suite for some water and a bit of fruit for breakfast, and the Rob Wilkin's Kaffee Klatch, wherein I got to hear more out of Snuff! and it was awesome.
