Hi everyone!!

This is REALLY random of me, but I couldn't hold it in lol.

I MISS KYRO!!!!

I miss the entire fandom, really! It was at its height in 2006 because X-Men: The Last Stand had just been released and BAM, Kyro came to life! I miss how active this community used to be. All the fics, and the icons, and the manips etc. It was so fun, Kyro ( Read more... )

I'm with you! Actually I miss all my (many) fandoms. It's so hard to really get into any of them anymore because of my new baby and keeping up the house and all the things that come with being a wife/mom.

It was fun when everyone was posting Kyro fics, icons, manips. The new movie has definitely spurred me back to my X-Men interest! Can't wait to see what this community will produce because of the new movie!

Aww I know! And yeah, it's understandable that you wouldn't be around on LJ so much! I hope your bub is doing well :)

It was definitely fun :) And I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who's had their interest ignited by the movie!! :D I can't wait either!

OMG I miss Kyro too! And what are these X-Men Novelizations you speak of? You should absolutely write a fic or make something to make this site come back to more life again! :D

XD! It's so nice hearing I'm not the only one who misses them! Ohhh they're the novelisations of the first three X-Men films. You can find them at Amazon here: X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand. Basically they're novels about the actual films etc, but there's a lot more detail and even certain things have been changed. Chris Claremont wrote the last two and you can tell he knows the characters well! It's really cool getting inside each character's head and know exactly how they feel when they use their powers :) Pity there isn't really any Kyro interaction, although Kitty is mentioned a bit. There are a couple of hints of John/Rogue lol which annoy me haha.

I'm in the process of writing THREE Kyro fics lol, one is almost completed and I'm hoping to post it soon, as soon as I get time! :D
