Okay peoples, today's the day I leave for Fan Expo 2006! I'm excited!! I'm a total nerd and I'm excited!! And yes, Billy did cancel...and I'd be a total mess right now if he was still going, but still, my tummy's all grumbly from getting to go out of town and away and have fun on this long weekend

Aaaawww, thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing those pictures. I should take some of my home town too. Not much to see though, everything is pretty much in one place.:) This is such a small town.

But next time I go to Tampere, I'll take pics there.

Have a fantastic time! If you're staying at the Royal York (because there is an underground tunnel to there from Union so I'm guessing) be careful. The walkway is really slippery and it's sloped funny. And then there are steep stairs on either end of the walkway. Just a friendly heads up.

Also, I wish to hook up with you. What does your saturday look like? Think you can squeeze in a quick lunch?

Thanks for the tip about the path, we're not staying at the Royal York but, just from the sounds of it, I may try to coax Ray into taking a cab. We've got luggage and 'steep steps' and luggage doesn't sound like it'll mix well.

Well, Saturday is slower than Sunday but we've got an intimate and interactive with Juliet Landau at noon, then Ray's got a class he wants to take with Mike Mignola at 1 (I'm assuming all these things will be an hour)...so I'd be available at 2? or is that too late for a lunch?

You guys have a FANTASTIC time this weekend!!! It sounds like the weather is going to be a little pissy but if you're inside most of the time that shouldn't be a problem. I'm going to see my dad this weekend; it's been a while and we're looking foward to a nice long visit.
