Even when converted into £ when the figure is roughly half that, my brain still broke.

Damn those pesky once in a lifetime chances, why must they cost so much!!

Cause...you get one chance, you pull it off, you're broke, and your life is over! lol

God, I didn't think it'd be THAT much...maybe for 2 but OOOOOOW! It actually really does physically hurt to think about!

i need to win the lottery!

My Rin wants to go to that game (she's a Leafs fan, her boyfriend is a Flames fan - so you can imagine how much they'll hate each other after that game!), so uh... transatlantic flight. Hotel. Tickets. Tourism. Dear god almighty. They may be crazy.

This is why I'm starting saving *now* to go see the Devils in the 07/08 season. :)

Well, if they've got the money to go ahead and do it...then good for them! Wish I could.

Yes! Start saving...that's what I'm going to have to do if I ever hope to see a game!

lol, I'm a Flames fan (well duh?) but my hubby is a Cannucks fan! LOL!!! Good stuff :)

Honestly, I don't even bother with Leafs tickets. They advertise the nosebleeds for $20, but with the demand and the scalpers, you'd have to be extremely lucky. I always said, I'd rather sell my tickets and I dunno, take a weekend in Montreal or something. It really is a joke in Toronto.

Honestly, if I could find nosebleeds for $20, I'd take 'em. But it'd be a miracle. I knew Leafs tickets were expensive but...holy crap! Our whole 4 day excursion into Toronto for the Fan expo won't come to the $806 bucks (plus everything else) we'd have to pay for 3 hours! Even the seats in the 300's are $200 apiece. Naw, for that I'd have to meet the guys....$200 I paid to meet James Marsters, talk to him, listen to him sing, get my picture taken with him and get 2 autographed pics. With my luck, for $200 at the ACC, I'd get beat up and beer poured all over me!

Sofa City this season I think.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to get tickets. I went to one game last year, but my girlfriend had to fight her brother for them. I really don't know how people get their hands on Leafs tickets without taking out a 2nd mortgage.

I believe it!!! I think you need to be lucky enough to marry into a wealthy family who's had season tickets their whole life! God.

I know Mix 99.9 sometimes gives them away but it's so hard to win stuff on the radio too. So, I'm gonna be on the sofa again this year and just pretend like I'm there! lol, that's the best I can do I think. Either that or go and watch the Battle of Alberta games over at a bar with a huge-ass screen! That might be a little better.
