I took a look at the tickets for the Calgary at Toronto Hockey game on October 14th...and figured, if I wanted tickets behind the net, it would cost me....get this....
$403!!!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! OH, JEEZ THAT HURTS! I could get two new jerseys for that!!! And you know what, it's cause the tickets for the Maple Leafs are so bloody expensive!
I'll bet (I haven't checked...but I'm gonna) that it'd cost less for Ray and I to fly out to Calgary and watch a game at the Saddledome for that much!
For two tickets, it's a MORTGAGE PAYMENT!! Adding on to that, gas, GO Train Tickets, snacks, miscellaneous purchasable paraphernalia ....OW!!

I think my couch may be good enough this year...unless, by some stroke of luck, my hint-dropping skills have gotten better, and the new slogan in mine and Ray's parents' brains is now:
