An art school? That was a bit different, wasn't it? Not unpleasant, but different. In a way, it's almost like seeing alternate versions of ourselves, when looking back at it. You can see many of the same person across different worlds...another version of myself as a painter doesn't seem so farfetched in the scheme of things ( Read more... )

moar nice events plz, just a little sad, peaceful events, kinkan town event, post event, other versions of me, never going home

It's only nice if it's your world to begin with.

Mm, I don't think that's necessarily true, Kuro-pin. It was nice while it lasted, and it certainly wasn't my world!

Living there is a longer commitment. Might be nice the first week, but not forever.

... A painter, huh? Because you drew that stupid sign?

I suppose that could be true. There are some places where you immediately know it's awful upon arrival though, and that didn't seem to be one of them.

I suppose so! It's not something I ever pictured sincerely pursuing! What about you though? I wonder why you were such a serious sculptor, Kuro-tan?

Designing costumes was really fun!

I'm glad you had a good time! Painting was fun for me as well.

Had you ever designed costumes before the event?

I've sewed some felt animals.

I suppose that's close enough! I hadn't done very much painting before that event myself.

Dude, weird alternate stuff is starting to seem almost normal now. I mean, I went through a lot of strange things at home, but being not-green and junk and living a whole different life is still pretty weird.

Art class wasn't so bad, I guess. But you know what'd be awesome? AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE WE LIVE IN SPACE! As cowboys! Space cowboys like Kaylee's crew!

It really is, isn't it? It's strange to think something like that would be normal, but that's starting to be the case!

That would be fun! I've been to a lot of places, but never outer space. That would be fun! And it sounds like it would be exciting enough for Kuro-wan to not be a grump over it.

Yeah, and if the super hero kid who lived in a broken reality finds stuff weird? You know it's way weird.

Kuro-wat? I've been to space a couple times, but it was all for missions, and that one time my friend was engaged to a disgusting alien blob and she had a smackdown with her evil sister to be the empress of her planet. But it was never for anything fun!

That's one way to put it!

Kuro-tan! He's a big, grumpy, unsociable ninja wandering around this place. But that's still impressive that you could go to space at all. Not that I can really complain about that - not many people have the opportunity to travel between different worlds, after all.
