Puffin Cabin [ Alcove B1 ] ; Monday Afternoon [ NFB ]

Jul 17, 2006 15:51

After his workshop for the day, Alphonse grabbed a few things from his room up at the dorms and brought them back with him to his alcove.

He wasn't sure if Sakurazaki was in her alcove (or even returned yet), but he knocked on the doorframe to check.

[ ooc: Locked to that person in particular. Whoo. ]

oh look a serious moment, sakurazaki, puffin, cabins

Sakurazaki had returned; getting her things together and returning to the cabins was one of the first things she'd done after their workshop that morning and, since she didn't have much stuff anyway, it didn't take her long to be ready to head over. As it was, she was curious as to how well her laptop would work out in the cabins, and was sitting cross-legged on her bed, pecking at the keyboard with one of the cookies from earlier hanging from her mouth.

"Come in," she says around the cookie, so it's muffled and more like the suggestion of an invitation.

Alphonse pulled the curtain aside and walked in. When he spotted the cookie in her mouth, he grinned, "See? They came out fine."

Sakurazaki blushes deeply, quickly pulling the hanging cookie out of her mouth and setting it back on the small plate of a few of them she had setting beside her. And then, with a slightly embarrassed chuckle, she smiles. She closes up her laptop, running her hands she's started to habitually do over the little wing markings, and sets the computer aside as well.

Still a little pink faced, she smiles at him, shifting a little on the bed to make more room for him. "They didn't turn out too bad, no," she says. "Go ahead, have a seat."

Alphonse plopped down at the end of her bed, removed his shoes and then crossed his legs. After thinking for a moment, he turned his head towards Sakurazaki. "Um, I wanted to talk since..." he trailed off, trying to find the right wording. "Since a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't really clear on something, and I thought it'd only be fair if I filled in the holes for you."
