Alphonse was sprawled out on the bed of his alcove, along with an open notebook that lie in front of him. He was chewing at the eraser end of his pencil, figuring out how to finish off the rest of his ( letter. )
Drifting back in from the campfire, Sakurazaki stops by to...um, knock?...at Alphonse's curtain. She was a little concerned, having not seen him at either gathering. True, she knew he wasn't particularly social, but these had taken place, like, two steps away from his alcove. And one of the last things exchanged between them was her freaking out. So she was worried.
"You'd think letters would be easier to write," Alphonse murmured, mostly to himself. He rolled over and sat up, scooting over to make more room on the bed in case she wanted to sit down. Small alcoves meant lack of chairs. "I'm all right, but I think I should be asking you the same."
