That was wonderfully said. I think it's sad that the people who actually go out of their way to educate themselves about what's going on; who open up their minds to other people's lifestyles; and who care about the people who are being shut out in this country all LOST..while the close-minded only-know-Bush-from-TV-propoganda-idiots won.. to me that's scary. Most people who vote for Bush have no good reason to, knowing this as a writer for my paper. "Because of moral issues" - catherine already took that one.. HELLO! do you know how many sins we all commit EVERY SINGLE WEEK! If you're gonna talk about morals then you better vow never to lie, talk down to your parents, get drunk, envy another person, or engage in any other type of sex beside intercourse to procreate (yes, no blowjobs guys!).. And then there's the all too common: "Bush will make the world a safer place in the fight against terrorism".. hahahaha. thats just funny. Do you even realize that in order to get you to vote for Bush, they didn't present facts, data, or logic ( ... )

The whole election just makes me sick. I can't believe he won again. Then again, historically, a war time president has never lost his re-election bid. This country has gone mad, I'd like to say.

It's funny--I'm living in New York now, too. The day after the election the whole City seemed to be in a great mass of mourning.
