Janene and I are poly, and thus far we don't have a "third" involved with both of us (as yet). I have a relationship (albeit long-distance, at this point) with my daughter's mother, so we have a different structure and I'm interested in comparing notes.

I've had folks ask me what it takes to be poly. The only response I've been able to offer is that the things that make it possible to have working poly relationships are the same things that make it possible to have working mono relationship, only coupled with a willingness to make the emotional committment to more than one person.

I'd love to hear what you folks think about your triad.
